That didn’t take long.
President Obama’s campaign manager just blasted out a fundraising email hours after Mitt Romney fumbled his way into the “birther” controversy while touting his local roots at a campaign stop in Michigan.

The email reads:
“Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee for president of the United States, just said this: ‘No one has ever asked to see my birth certificate,’” said Jim Messina, Obama’s campaign manager. ‘They know that this is the place that we were born and raised.’ Take a moment or two to think about that, what he’s actually saying, and what it says about Mitt Romney.”
It asks for a $3 or more to re-election Mr. Obama.
