South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez and former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice are among seven Republicans who have secured top speaking slots at the party’s convention later this month in Tampa, the Republican National Committee announced Monday.
Others include Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Florida Gov. Rick Scott.

“There are going to be a lot more coming,” RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said Monday morning on “Fox and Friends. “We’re proud and honored to have these folks that will be speaking at the convention.”
The RNC has not yet unveiled its keynote speaker — a slot typically bestowed upon a rising star for whom the party hopes to provide a potential launching pad for future success. President Obama, for example, famously delivered the keynote speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro will become the first Latino to deliver the keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention this year. First Lady Michelle Obama is also slated to speak on the same night.
U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren and President Clinton have been awarded prime speaking slots on Sept. 5, and Vice President Biden and Mr. Obama will speak on Sept. 6 at the convention in Charlotte.
