President Obama called 10 U.S. service members Thursday to wish them a happy Thanksgiving and to thank them for their service.
The White House said Mr. Obama called two service members each from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard.

The president and his extended family are dining at the White House on a Thanksgiving Day menu that includes turkey, honey-baked ham, cornbread stuffing, oyster stuffing, greens, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, dinner rolls and nine kinds of pie: huckleberry, pecan, chocolate cream, sweet potato, peach, apple, pumpkin, banana cream and coconut cream.
