Jon Ward is reporting that President-elect Barack Obama is keeping a low profile during the G-20 meetings in Washington this weekend.

Obama is in a bit of a pickle. He can’t horn in on the meetings because he’s not the president yet. But he can’t appear to be ignoring the meetings since they 1.) involve many top world leaders and 2.) focus on the global economic crisis.

Maybe he could slip in as the “plus 1” on one of the G-20’s invitations.
