Bob Dylan says it’s all over for the Rolling Stones, the Independent is reporting.

“They are pretty much finished, aren’t they?” he says of his longtime musical rivals in an interview.

Dylan says that when bassist Bill Wyman left the group, the Stones became a “funk band. They’ll be the real Rolling Stones when they get him back.”

Hey!  What’s wrong with a little funk?!

Actually the Brits aren’t sure what Dylan said.  Neither is anybody else.  Even Dylan.

The Independent describes Dylan’s remarks as emanating from “his latest incarnation as an attention-seeking serial interviewee.”  Just wait for his newest incarnation — as a karate-chopping Texas Ranger.
