The Beatles’ entire music catalogue is being digitally remastered for release in the second week of September, the Times is reporting.

This is the first time the Beatles’ first four albums will be made available in their entirety on CD, and the September release coincides with the issue of a Rock Band video game featuring the Fab Four.

If a band that broke up 40 years ago can generate this much attention, then there’s still hope for that Herman’s Hermits comeback.  Yeah!

“Rock Band: The Beatles” will probably sell out as soon as it’s issued in September.  However, they won’t be able to give away “Rock Band: The Beatles — The Yoko Ono Special Edition.”
