Fox News has the top 10 cable news programs in terms of total viewers, MediaBistro’s TVNewser is reporting.

In primetime, Fox News has more total viewers and younger viewers than MSNBC and CNN combined.

Bill O’Reilly’s “The O’Reilly Factor” is the No. 1 cable news show, with nearly 3.2 million viewers. Sean Hannity’s “Hannity” is No. 2, with 2.3 million viewers. And Glenn Beck’s eponymous show is No. 3, with more than 2 million viewers.

Wow! I can’t wait to hear Keith Olberman’s conspiracy theory about these viewership numbers.

It looks like “fair and balanced” is beating out “most respected” by a landslide.

Let’s hope this encourages Fox’s entertainment side to step it up. Because a TV network cannot survive on “24,” “House” and “Bones” for long.
