Canadian scientist Hennie van Vuuren has genetically altered yeast to elminate the compounds in wine that cause headaches, the Atlantic is reporting.

But many wine purists say those compounds are part of what makes wine what it is.


I guess the oenophiles would say that van Vuuren’s discovery is nothing to wine about.

So, 2,000 years after Christ turned water into wine, this Canadian turns wine into water.
