The Washington Times - June 12, 2009, 06:40AM

The New York Times is planning to publish an expose on Sasha Baron Cohen’s new satirical movie “Bruno,” which is set to debut in theaters next month, the Drudge Report is reporting.

Cohen plays a flamboyantly gay Austrian fashionista, and gay rights groups have expressed mixed emotions about the so-called “mockumentary.”

The Times is planning to run thousands of words on the societal implications of it all, Drudge reports.

So much upset over a movie that hasn’t even premiered.  I wonder if the New York Times thinks “Bruno” is a real documentary.

The newspaper is planning to print “thousands of words” about “Bruno?”  Does movie advertising really need to be so wordy?
