David Letterman apologized a second time for jokes he told about Sarah Palin’s family last week on CBS’ “Late Show,” the Live Feed is reporting.
Letterman said he had no idea Palin was at a New York Yankees game with her 14-year-old daughter, Willow, when he joked about her getting “knocked up” by Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez.

Meanwhile, an online group called “Fire David Letterman” has planned a rally outside the studio where the “Late Show” is recorded, the New York Daily News is reporting. The group is sponsored by a Republican New York state assemblyman and a conservative radio host.
That joke is like the gift that keeps on giving … and Dave just wishes it would stop.
Even the National Organization for Women last week took Palin’s side in her feud with Letterman, and the last time NOW sided with a Republican was … well, last week.
CBS isn’t likely to fire David Letterman. But since he makes $30 million a year, the Obama administration might want to cut his pay.
