President Bush
Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko
During their press conference, Mr. Bush and Mr. Yushchenko both mentioned Ukrainian communist protesters in Independence Square, who greeted Mr. Bush upon his arrival with red Soviet flags bearing the familiar gold hammer and sickle, as well as a prominently displayed sign with a four-letter expletive.
