There are very few injuries of concern for the Washington Redskins coming out of the win over the Raiders and, perhaps more importantly for the team, there are no new ones to detail.
The three biggest injury concerns date back at least a few weeks:
SEE RELATED:
- Mike Sellers: The fullback jogged on a treadmill this week, and Redskins coach Jim Zorn expects to work him in to practice this week and see how he responds. He injured his thigh last week and had to have it drained.
- DeAngelo Hall: The cornerback went through some drills this morning, and Zorn wants to work him in to practice as well to see if his knee is strong enough to play.
- Albert Haynesworth: The defensive tackle will take limited reps this week and “see how it goes,” according to Zorn.
Safe to say all three would be listed as “questionable” were there an official injury report today.
As for the guys who actually played in Oakland, defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin strained a pectoral muscle but won’t miss any time, according to Zorn. Tackle Stephon Heyer will be limited in practice but will play.
And Jason Campbell injured his non-throwing (left) shoulder, but the trainers kept it warm and he stayed in the game (obviously); he’s not expected to miss any time. The day off today (a rare Victory Monday!) and on Tuesday surely will help.
