In this photo taken Tuesday, April 14, 2015, Sandra Pike lights a number 30 candle as her husband, Jerry, right, stands beside their son Joey as guests wait to sing "Happy Birthday" to Joey for his birthday celebration at Eagles' Wings in Coker, Ala. When 6-month-old Joey Pike was diagnosed with Marshall-Smith syndrome, a rare intellectual and physical disability, doctors said he probably wouldn't live past 3. Joey defied the odds. Family, friends and others celebrated his 30th birthday Tuesday with a party. (Erin Nelson /The Tuscaloosa News via AP) MANDATORY CREDIT, NO SALES
