The push by Democrats to endorse write-in voting and pick-up votes by door-to-door harvesting should raise a red flag. Their abysmal performance passing the COVID-19 stimulus package does not sit well in the craw of even other Democrats. The temptation to revert to the old Chicago style of “Vote and vote often” can’t be discounted, considering the true characters of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer.

The law says that to vote you must be a bonified citizen. To become a citizen, you must demonstrate an undersanding of the English language, including an ability to read, write and speak words in ordinary usage in English. When these criteria are met, a voter-identification document, which the voter must subsequently present at the time of voting, should be issued. Anyone out of this parameter will disenfranchise the legitimate voter and should be deemed to have an ulterior motive.
