Conservative economist Stephen Moore withdrew from consideration Thursday for a seat on the Federal Reserve Board, abruptly ending President Trump's second bid to reshape the central bank in a clash over rising interest rates, monetary policy and economic growth entering the 2020 election cycle.

Dems call on Trump to approve ‘big and bold’ infrastructure plan

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer will return to the White House on Tuesday with several other top Democrats to discuss a costly infrastructure package with Mr. Trump, perhaps the best hope for a big, bipartisan jobs bill this year.
