Obama says Paris climate agreement almost complete

President Obama said Monday night the Paris climate change agreement will take effect within a few weeks, now that India has signed on to the U.N.-sponsored deal aimed at reducing carbon emissions.

Obama signs bill to keep government open

President Obama signed a short-term spending measure Thursday afternoon to keep the government funded through Dec. 9, averting a potential shutdown that would have occurred Friday.

White House slams Congress for misgivings on 9/11 veto override

The White House blasted lawmakers Thursday for suffering "buyer's remorse" in their first override of a veto by President Obama, after the top two Republican leaders said they're prepared to rewrite the measure that allows victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks to sue Saudi Arabia in U.S. courts.
