Former Pence advisers to appear before Jan. 6 committee Thursday

Two former advisers to Mike Pence are scheduled to appear before the House Jan. 6 committee on Thursday, according to the committee, as the panel turns its attention to then-President Trump's efforts to pressure the vice president to overturn the election.

Jan. 6 committee releases footage of alleged reconnaissance tour

The House Jan. 6 Committee on Wednesday released surveillance footage of the man taking photographs of "hallways, tunnels, and staircases within the Capitol complex," as part of what they say was a tour of the Capitol complex hosted by Rep. Barry Loudermilk on Jan. 5, 2021.
