On the eve of the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, bipartisan lawmakers, former senior officials from both sides of the Atlantic will join thousands of Iranians worldwide in an online summit to discuss the Iranian regime’s repressive measures at home, its threats to the Middle East, and to the rest of the world, and set forth the proper policy to effectively challenge Tehran’s aggressive behavior.
The summit will be held amidst major global debate on policy on Iran, including the reimposition of six previous United Nations Security Council resolutions.
Several United States senators and Members of Congress will speak during the online summit.
The participants call for international intervention to stop the new wave of executions of, and death sentences for, activists who took part in the anti-regime protests, in particular in November 2019
