It will be Civil War Days at Fair Oaks Mall in western Fairfax County just off I-66 this weekend, July 12 and 13, with groups of civil war reenactors, readings,music, displays and other things to attract the Fairfax County folks to a little bit more of our civil war history. Running from 11:00 a.m. til 5:00 p.m. both days, it will be located in the Grand Court of the Mall, and promises to be a period-type of fun for all.
Whether you are interested in the civil war as a hobby or are just looking for a unique place to take the kids, Fair Oaks Mall sounds like a good destination, and in this time of expensive gas, another “staycation” that is affordable as well as enjoyable.
