The meeting for this Saturday, August  29, at the George Washington Masonic Memorial in Alexandria, VA has been cancelled, but sesquicentennial committee heads say it will be re-scheduled.

Virginia’s part in the Civil War Sesquicentennial Celebration in 2011 has been a long debated matter, and it is hoped that the coming meeting will be one in which the powers that be will assure that both sides of the war are equally represented and remembered.
