The very term “civil war” simply is an oxymoron. There is no such thing as a “civil” war.  It’s blood and guts, devastation and destruction, losses of every type.

Today we turn back to September 11, 2001 which serves to remind all of us that it CAN happen here, and did.  We remember the many lives lost or ruined forever on that fateful day — the plane passengers, those working in the stricken buildings, the emergency personnel including firemen, policemen and other responders, and most of all the entire country which suffered a devastating blow to its psyche and sense of invulnerability.  We stop today, just for a moment, to remember.
