Georgia Tech guard Glen Rice Jr. will sit out his third straight game because of a suspension Saturday when Maryland pays a visit to Atlanta.
But does it change things for the Terrapins (16-11, 6-7 ACC)? Probably not.

They didn’t play well against Clemson, but they also had the kid who was hurt —- hurt his ankle —- and played 17 minutes, [Jason] Morris. So they had [Rice] out and him hurt, so it made it hard that night. I’m sure he’ll be closer to healthy Saturday. They’ve proven they can play without him, so we’ll keep everything the same.”
Rice, who is averaging 13 points for the Yellow Jackets (9-18, 2-11), scored six points on 2-for-8 shooting in the teams’ first meeting in College Park on Jan. 15.
