Former Maryland pitcher Eric Milton was named the school’s interim baseball coach Thursday.
Milton spent last season as a volunteer assistant for the Terrapins. He played at Maryland from 1994 to 1996 and later had an 11-year major league career with Minnesota, Philadelphia, Cincinnati and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
