Defenseman Tyler Sloan, 27, and right wing Graham Mink, 29, were inked to contracts. Sloan has played for the Hershey Bears the past two seasons and did get to spend a few days with the Caps after the regular season ended and before the playoffs started as a practice player. Mink was a central figure in the Bears’ Calder Cup run in 2006 and had spent the past two seasons with Worcester in the AHL.
