Critics are berating the Secret Service for allowing an Iraqi journalist to throw both of his shoes at President Bush during a press conference in Baghdad, the Los Angeles Times is reporting.
After all, they make you take off your shoes at the airport, don’t they? Why can’t they do the same thing at a presidential press conference? Or anywhere the president is going to make an appearance?
