A paleobiologist at Oxford University says he has found a 140-million-year-old spider web encased in a piece of amber, the AP is reporting.

The find means that spiders have been around spinning webs since the age of the dinosaurs.


I wonder if dinosaurs were ever bothered by walking into invisible spider webs. It drives me to distraction. It may have driven them to extinction.
