Ford Motors Co. thanked President Bush for offering billions of taxpayer dollars to bail out the auto industry and politely turned down the offer, saying it’s not close enough to bankruptcy to need the funds, Agence France Presse is reporting.

What?  Someone has turned down bailout money?  I don’t understand.

Isn’t this one of the signs of the apocalypse?  Isn’t Las Vegas under 6 inches of snow?

I didn’t know you were allowed to turn down bailout money.  I wonder if any of the other companies who’ve taken some knew that.
