Sen. Hillary Clinton will have to do without a $5,000 pay raise if she is to become the next secretary of state, the Boston Globe is reporting.

Congress recently increased the secretary of state’s pay, and members of Congress are forbidden to take government jobs whose salaries have been increased during their term in office. It’s a law or something.


Oh, that darn Constitution! It gets in the way of everything!
