A new study shows that happiness can spread like the flu through social networks, LiveScience is reporting.

One happy person can infect others, who then spread the cheer to others. And sadness, surprisingly, isn’t as infectious as happiness.

This is good news. If you know any happy people, stick close to them — even if they annoy or bore you. Eventually, you’ll catch whatever they’ve got and then you’ll get to go home early.

You know, even with all the craziness and danger out there in the world today, there is still a lot to be happy about. Too bad we need a scientific study to prove it to us.
