Scientists are telling the U.N. that the planet needs a $100 million shield to protect it from asteroids, the Guardian is reporting.

Apparently, the scientists, who admittedly do not get out that much, recently went to the movies and watched the 1998 films “Armageddon” and “Deep Impact.”


They realized that the asteroid thing could really happen.

They also realized that Morgan Freeman was one of our best presidents.
