Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary has declared “bailout” as the word of the year, the AP is reporting.

Everybody knows what it is, everybody says it everyday, everybody wants a piece of it.


I was betting on “maverick” as the word of the year, and now I’ve just lost a bundle. Guess I’ll be looking for a bailout. D’oh!
