Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee says the $828 billion economic stimulus bill approved by the Senate is “anti-religious” in part because it would prevent education funds from being used to create a school or department of divinity, Politico is reporting.

The former Arkansas governor, who is also a Baptist preacher, said in an email: “The dust is settling on the ‘bipartisan’ stimulus bill and one thing is clear: it is anti-religious. … For all the talk about bipartisanship, this Congress is blatantly liberal.”

Sounds like somebody is warming up the 2012 bandwagon.  Looks like this is going to be another lonnnggg race.
