A 49-year-old woman who wanted one baby is pregnant with quadruplets after being treated by the fertility specialist responsible for Nadya Suleman’s octuplets, the Los Angeles Times is reporting.

Dr. Michael Kamrava implanted at least seven embryos into the woman, who is now hospitalized for health concerns. Her advanced age for pregnancy makes her more vulnerable to stroke or heart attack, doctor’s say.

Medical agencies are looking into Kamrava’s practice.

Somebody should tell this doctor that “the more, the merrier” isn’t a motto to live by … and it certainly isn’t a family plan.

There was an earlier report about how Suleman’s octuplets could eventually cost taxpayers millions of dollars.  Maybe Dr. Kamrava would like to pony up his share now.
