A Harvard University physicist says that Google devours energy by noting that two Google searches on a desktop computer generate about the same amount of carbon dioxide as boiling a kettle of water, Times Online is reporting.

Which is why I always do my Google searches with a little tea and lemon.


The physicist’s name is Alex Wissner-Gross.  Yeah, I Googled him, but I did it very slowly.
