On the eve of Martin Luther King Day, President-elect Barack Obama stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and proclaimed that the “United States of America will endure, that it will prevail, that the dream of our Founders will live on in our time,” Christina Bellantoni is reporting.

Obama also declared that “anything is possible in America.”  That same day, the Arizona Cardinals won their first NFL championship in more than 60 years.

Coincidence?  You make the call.

Of course, if anything is possible, look for the Cubs and White Sox in the World Series next year.  And maybe a Palin-Blagojevich ticket in 2012.
