Politico is handicapping the odds on last-minute Bush administration pardons, giving 1-to-1 odds that former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and 1-to-2 odds that former Cheney chief of staff “Scooter” Libby will receive pardons.

Well, that’s a good start, but there are plenty of others who could use a pardon right about now:

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco — Hey, that was a lot to expect from a rookie!

“American Idol” judge Simon Cowell — “Idol” is slipping in the ratings, but it’s not his fault.  Blame Paula!

Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich — Not that he’s done anything wrong.  So he says.

Bank of America — You would not believe how easy it is to lose billions of dollars.  It’s incredibly easy.

M. Night Shyamalan — But only if he promises NEVER to make another movie!
