Venezuela has halted its program that provided free heating oil to poor people in foreign countries, including the United States, because the price of oil has fallen so low, the New York Times is reporting.

The program had long irritated the Bush administration, which viewed it as a tactic by socialist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to embarrass President Bush and denigrate capitalism.


Now everything is as it back to normal, and capitalism wins again — by default.  Huzzah!
