The Senate has refused to seat Roland Burris, who was appointed by scandalized Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Sean Lengell is reporting.

But Sen. Dianne Feinstein says the Democrat-led Senate should seat Burris, lest all gubernatorial appointments suffer.

A court ultimately may have to decide whether the Senate can refuse admission to Burris, who is not implicated in Blagojevich’s alleged scheme to “sell” the Senate seat.

This whole Blagojevich thing is so good, they oughta make a movie about it.  Any casting ideas?
