WebMD is reporting that scientists think they know why hair turns gray.

Naturally occurring hydrogen peroxide builds up in the hair when levels of an enzyme called catalase begin to fall. Hair bleaches itself from the inside out.


Hydrogen peroxide?  You mean our hair is trying to go blond and it goes gray instead?  Stupid hair!
