Tickets for a one-show performance by Sir Paul Cartney next month at a Las Vegas casino sold out in seven seconds, the Daily Telegraph is reporting.

Sir Paul will perform before 4,000 fans to highlight the opening of the New Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

A spokeswoman for the “Guiness Book of Records” said they don’t track ticket sales, so no one’s sure if the seven-second sale is a record.

Wow, at 66, Paul McCartney is still making records.  I mean, CDs — I mean, mp3s.  Oh, whatever!

Rumors of some kind of a “reunion” are swirling because half of the tickets were purchased by Ringo Starr and the other half by Sir Paul’s ex-wife, Heather Mills.

I just hope Yoko Ono wasn’t involved.
