President Bush was asked in an interview with France 3 TV whether he believes the U.S. will still be the world’s greatest superpower in 10 years.
“You know, I — that’s an interesting question,” Mr. Bush said. “I think that — I would rather define us as a very influential nation that is willing to work with others to achieve common objectives.”
The interview took place last week, but the White House released the transcript today.
