The Washington Redskins signed sixth-round pick Kareem Moore on Friday and released cornerback John Eubanks.
Moore, who missed the team’s mini-camp and organized team activities because of a knee injury, will compete for a reserve safety position. The 180th overall pick from Nicholls State, Moore totaled 141 tackles and five interceptions in 21 games. He also spent time at Mississippi and Itawamba Community College.
Eubanks, 25, appeared in six games for the Redskins last year before being released on Dec. 19. He was re-signed after the season. The Redskins have eight cornerbacks on their roster.
