   One of the most beautiful birds to listen to is the mockingbird.  Have you ever listened closely to one when he or she is singing?  They can sing for a long, long time, producing a flood of clear, melodious songs - always varied and new.  Presumably they borrow a lot from other birds, but however they come by it, they seem to know dozens of songs!

   The following is a link to a really nice account in   that tells of one lady’s love for these amazing birds.  It is also a great story about friendship.
