Guidepostsmag.com currently has a really beautiful account by one of the editors, Ptolemy Tomkins. In it he describes how he and his father were able to heal their relationship, which was broken to the point that they had not even spoken to each other for over five years! It’s a nice story, both because it will be Father’s Day soon, and because it shows how a little effort (and God’s grace) can often heal a friendship or family relationship that we might think is impossible to heal. Since we never really know how much time we have with the people we love, this is a good story to enjoy, and consider:
