A student at Tehran University writes about the violence there:

Last day evening, students in Kooy-e Dorm (Kooy-e Daneshgah) which belongs to the University of Tehran begin their protest against the fraud made by AN’s administration in presidential election. It continued up to today morning. A bank was burn and destroyed. There was a serious and huge conflict between students and the police. More than 100 plastic bullets were fired to the protesters who were supported by residents near the Kooy. The same number of tear gas bullets ware fired. Two students were severely injured by hitting plastic bullets to their heads. Students were around 2000, stand firmly against the police and seized Amirabad Street. In the time I am writing this text, I can hear protesters voice against AN’s government as it was silent for 5-6 hours. Local time is 12:18 (July 14, 2009)
