Roger Stone demands judge recuse herself in new motion

Attorneys for Roger Stone late Friday filed a motion arguing the federal judge who sentenced him to more than three years in prison should recuse herself from deciding his request for a new trial.

Roger Stone sentenced to more than 3 years in prison

A federal judge on Thursday sentenced Roger Stone, a longtime friend and political adviser to President Trump, to three years and four months in prison for impeding a congressional investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Justice Department: AG William Barr has no plans to resign

Attorney General William P. Barr does not intend to resign from his position, despite reports that he considered quitting because of President Trump's tweets about the Justice Department, a department spokesperson said late Tuesday.
