is a joint civil-military airport in southeastern Nashville, Tennessee. It was established in 1937 as Berry Field, from which it derives its IATA and ICAO airport codes;Berry Field, NAshville. It was referred to as Berry Field Nashville Airport wuntil 1988 when the name was changed to reflect plans for international flights with its new status as an American Airlines hub. American ceased hub operations at Nashville in the mid 1990s, with Southwest Airlines designating Nashville as a focus city and picking up most of American's market share shortly thereafter. - Source: Wikipedia
