Buckeye State flags John Edwards
From one of my sources:\ “…got a phonebank from john edwards’ supporters last night. they are telling people that a vote for edwards will still count and he will get delegates if he pulls 5% in ohio. that would, they say, give him more bargaining power at the convention.”\ The claim is actually false. Per the Ohio Delegate Selection Plan, candidates need to break a 15% threshold barrier to obtain any delegates on our proportional system. Still, if Johnny E’s supporters are still pushing him, it could have an impact on the total vote tally on which the percentages are based. I’d love to hear whether Mark Adams, everyone’s favorite Ohio Edwards supporter/blogger knows anything about this one.\ \ UPDATE: Apparently these calls were targeted in central Ohio.
