Sometimes, a simply daily Google News search just isn’t enough.

It turns out that punching in “basketball schedule” and scanning the results won’t yield every single schedule released this summer.

Bucknell’s certainly didn’t register. But that’s what monitoring fan message boards is for; if a reporter eager to piece together Maryland‘s nonconference schedule in the fall doesn’t find a shred of info floating about, an intrepid fan certainly will.

Such is the case with what very well could be Maryland’s season opener: Nov. 14 against Bucknell at Comcast Center.

So that means there’s no more than five games left to go to add to this nonconference schedule:

Nov. 14: vs. Bucknell

Nov. 21: vs. Vermont

Nov. 27-30: Old Spice Classic (three games)

Dec. 3: vs. Michigan

Dec. 7: vs. George Washington (BB&T Classic-Verizon Center)

Jan. 3: vs. Charlotte

TBA: vs. Bryant
