Maryland assistant coach Scott Spinelli said “all was fine” between coach Mark Turgeon and guard Terrell Stoglin during Monday’s ACC teleconference.
Stoglin vented on his Twitter page after Saturday’s 73-55 loss at Duke. He deleted the post —- “Loved sittin that bench today. [Smh] wow” —- within an hour.

Later, after the Terrapins (14-10, 4-6 ACC) flew back to Baltimore, Stoglin apologized for the tweet, citing frustration over the loss.
Spinelli filled in for Turgeon on the weekly ACC teleconference.
“Everything’s fine on this end,” Spinelli said. “Coach Turgeon handled that with our team on Saturday. The policy is coach Turgeon wants his guys and our players to mature and he allows them to use social media networks like Twitter as part of being a young college student and maturing. All is fine on this end. He talked to the team on this end. Sometimes, after a loss, everybody’s frustrated. He’s handled it and our team has accepted what he said and all is fine here.”
The Terps play Boston College on Thursday.
